Balefire is a tale of a geneticist whose studies have altered the world in its entirety. Wars have been fought over the greatest discovery of mankind: immortality. The series follows a dichotomous plot of two timelines: one is the search for the scientist himself; the second is a tale of three individuals that live in the aftermath of the first- eons in the future. Both timelines eventually collide.
