CryptoComics.com uses Web3 to publish comics and connect creators with fans. Comics can now be collected digitally, and resold in the Marketplace.
When CryptoComics began, the team was looking for a way to give creators more power of what they publish, and the ability to make more royalties from their creations.
Blockchain technology offered a solution. Digital items can be tracked on the blockchain to determine authenticity. And by removing the middleman (banks, merchant processing), creators and fans can decide what to sell without fear of being debanked or deplatformed.
Our mission is to connect creators and fans. There are so many original and compelling stories fans are missing simply because they don't know they exist, and the creators are just getting started.
We want to help bring people together and make collecting comics books affordable for fans, and make publishing comic books profitable for creators.
Blockchain ensures comics are genuine and creators own their work. Unlike regular digital books, each blockchain-published issue is unique, and copies are limited. Owners of blockchain comics, or digital collectibles, can resell their books to others.
Instead of focusing on high-priced collectibles, our goal is to make it possible for everyone to own digital collectibles. Comics are meant to be read, shared, and discussed, as well as collected.
That is what this community-driven marketplace is all about - sharing your love of comics with everyone.
We're a team of comic creators, collectors, and technology professionals. We saw a unique opportunity to build a community and combine the affordability of digital with the collectability of print through Web3 technology.
We started out pounding the floor at conventions, learning what creators and collectors want. Our goal is to create a community-driven marketplace that helps creators have more control over their work, and collectors enjoy original stories and evocative art.
Support the creators you love. Meet collectors that share your passions.
